			<description><![CDATA[ I have a 66 1 barrel motor i believe.  Looking at a 67 possibly 4 barrel and I know I have read and there is

heads = not really sure, is there a difference between 4 and 1 barrel for the heads?

bottom end = sounds like they are all the same

timing cover = heard 66 is one year only?

What else are different between 1 and 4 barrel? rods?

			<description><![CDATA[ Are the motor mount frame perches proprietary to the OHC 6?   I&#39;m building up my &#39;66 frame and they&#39;re missing.  I&#39;ve seen a few pairs on ebay,
but of course they are all V8&#39;s.

Also, this convertible frame had no transmission cross-member with it, so I picked one up from a buddy of mine.  It is a convertible cross-member, but it&#39;s

			<description><![CDATA[ I just got a ohc 6 and was told it was a 66 but havent verified numbers yet,  It is 1 barrel version.   Looking at rebuiling it and want to either turbo or
supercharge it.  I am fimiliar with the m90s of gtps but think turbo look cleaner and easier to plumb.    I plan to install this in a 32 pontiac 5 window coupe
hot rod and was thinking of getting 300hp or so out of this combo.  I Know clifford makes 4 barrel intake.  Any pics of turbo or supercharged set ups?   Any

			<description><![CDATA[ Hi everybody. Glad to see a forum for these engines! I&#39;ve had a 67 Firebird for about 11 years now, I bought when I was 15. It had an OHC6 and 3 speed
manual on the tree. I tuned it up and drove it like that for a few months when I got my license. It blew the head gasket and after having some work done to the
head and putting it back on I never got it running again. Looking back it was probably only the fuel pump because I could pour gas down the carb and it would

I&#39;m not sure how to remove the crankshaft timing belt sprocket. The shop manual doesn&#39;t tell you to use a tool for the sprocket removal.

1) Should the sprocket be loose enough to tap off or do I need a special tool? I&#39;m afraid of damaging the front crankcase cover by loosening with pry bar.
